These terms apply to your use of Moi Sei, a digital ledger for event gift-money (moi). By using the service you agree to them.

The service

Moi Sei lets event hosts and their staff record contributions, sends contribution confirmations over WhatsApp, issues family QR codes, and gives families access to their give and receive history.

Your responsibilities

• Enter accurate information, and only for people who have given it at the event.
• Keep staff PINs and passwords confidential, and do not share your account.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes, and do not attempt to access data you are not authorised to see.

Messages

Confirmations are sent to the phone number provided at the counter. By providing a number, the contributor agrees to receive a confirmation about that contribution. A contributor can ask us to stop messages at any time.

Accuracy of records

The ledger is only as accurate as the information entered. Hosts and staff are responsible for checking entries, and we are not liable for errors in data entered by users.

Availability

We work to keep the service available, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Moi Sei is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
